Hi, I’m Jean.
This work is the one thing in life that I simply can’t not do. Over the last 20 years, I’ve fine-tuned a process that helps women (and men!) become more confident by discovering their most flattering colors, styles, and fashions. It would be a real thrill to do the same with you.
As a Color Me Beautiful™ Certified Color and Style Consultant, I utilize the tried-and-true science of color theory to determine your ideal color palette, which takes the guesswork out of shopping for clothes and cosmetics. With your color wheel in mind, we can then move to fit and flair to create a wardrobe plan that is tailored to your lifestyle.
For over a decade, Jean has been an incredible help with my wardrobe. She creates the best outfits, extending my options with pieces and combinations I’d never have thought of myself. After helping thousands of people own their personal colors and styles, I know that getting started can come with some anxiety and apprehension.
It always melts away during the first few minutes of our initial session, but let’s address some elephants in the room, shall we?
Sounds expensive. How much does it cost?
Color Analysis is the easiest first step to understanding how to look your best, and it’s your biggest money saver in the long run! Your color analysis and resulting color palette will be based on your unique skin, hair and eye colors – no more wondering if these are the “right” colors for you.
The consultation and your palette are $300. From there, you can choose from an array of services, including personal shopping and invitations to my seminars. My rates are generally around $100/hour, although I can give you a better idea of your investment during our free introductory call.
Sounds embarrassing. Will you judge me?
Never. After working with women of all ages and sizes for many years, I can tell you that none of them need a guide to point out their flaws; they are their own biggest critics. When you come here, I am your biggest fan. Always.
Sounds complicated. Can I really put into practice what you teach me?
Ah, that’s the beauty of it! I won’t need to tell you what to wear, I will give you every tool you need to choose an outfit for yourself. And then another outfit, and another, until you have a closet full of clothes you look great in! Or I can do it for you, of course. Lots of clients love to have me put together outfits for them. When they add new items, I integrate them with the clothes they already own to make great new outfits.
Sounds time-consuming. What can I expect?
Your initial color analysis takes about 1.5-2 hours, and you will have a workable plan when you leave here.
In our next 1.5-2 hour session, we dive deeper into your unique color wheel and help you learn to make the most of your coloring. From there, I can introduce you to flattering styles for your body shape or evaluate your closet to create your personal style (both about 3 hours each) if you’d like. I offer many services as a personal stylist and public speaker; how we use the time is really up to you!
I'm on a tight timeline. Can I still hire you?
Let’s try! My color analysis is a prerequisite for most of my services, so if you have a special event or a tight timeline, I’d love to schedule a phone consultation for more details.
Sounds wasteful. Will you fill my closet with clothes that go out of style?
Never. The real gift of learning about the colors and styles that flatter your face and body is that you can fill your closet with timeless, high-quality outfits that will endure through the fickle fashions and seasons. And you will know which items you can add (and should) that are on-trend to keep you current.
Sounds "once and done." Should I wait until I'm at my target weight or feel more ready?
The irony of losing weight or handling other issues first is that the better you feel about yourself during the process, the more motivated you will be to succeed. My clients acquire the skills to know the colors and styles that will look great on them now and as they reinvent their look. You will be amazed at the mood and motivation boost that wearing your best colors will give you!

Absolutely! It’s a matter of personal choice and the time you have to maintain a wardrobe for your life and social/professional commitments. Some clients use my services two or more times a year for closet evaluation and cleanout, shopping for the upcoming season, and finally integrating outfits using their new and existing clothing for their calendar of upcoming events.
