ABOUT ME
What serving youmeans to me.
Welcome; I’m so glad you’re here!
For over 20 years, I’ve had the pleasure of helping my clients look and feel great for every professional and social occasion. I have always prioritized their personal style over fleeting fashion trends because I believe that your wardrobe should reflect who you are, a mix of your personality and lifestyle.
We could talk for hours about color, style, and all of the ways women sell themselves short when they get dressed. What I’ve learned over the years is that so many women want help but don’t realize it’s accessible to them.
Great news! This support is not only for celebrities! In fact, I have never worked with one. I’m not opposed to it, but real people have been my specialty. As we work together, we will discover and develop your personal shortcuts for looking your version of fabulous every day.

The road to becoming a personal stylist began as I listened to the hum of my mother’s sewing machine, and that road led me right into the world of interior design. So, how does one go from styling living rooms to styling businesswomen, teachers, mothers, and brides-to-be?
As a child, I learned to love fashion and design while watching my mother design and make all of our own clothes. I had no idea that my classmates wore clothing from stores!
In college, I studied literature, history, and education, but my true passion was always interior design. After leaving school, I apprenticed with an interior designer and embarked on a career that spanned over 20 years, designing interiors and selling furniture, carpets, and custom draperies for homes and offices.
My experience in creating beautiful surroundings and navigating the sometimes bizarre challenges of these projects was rich with learning opportunities and fascinating stories! It was during the 1980s, an era that brought significant change to the idea of women entering the workforce, that I found a new calling. My background in design naturally transitioned into helping women dress confidently for their new professional roles! In xxxx, I became a Certified Color and Image Consultant with Color Me Beautiful™, and I have enjoyed helping women find and express their personal style for over 30 years now.
Oh, the fun I’ve had! And the fun I am still having! I’m so grateful to the hundreds of women (and men!) who invited me into the vulnerable space of their own personal style. I would love to do the same for you
You have my word.
Inviting someone into your personal style can be vulnerable; I don’t take your trust lightly.
Here are just a few promises I make:
You will be safe with me.
Women regularly underestimate themselves, have shame, and can’t see their beauty. In my studio, you will learn to see your gifts and your unique beauty will be celebrated!
I will soothe your anxious heart.
Your days of avoiding the spotlight and family photographs are behind you. Dress for the day like you don’t care who’s looking!
I will give you clarity.
You will embrace your personal style and have the knowledge to choose styles and colors that enhance it.
I will be your cheerleader.
I’m in the confidence-building business. I don’t want you to walk out of here, I want you to strut!
I will be your inner fashion voice.
It’s true. Long after our appointment is over, I will live fee-free in your head, whispering advice and affirmations as you dress for the day.
I will reveal more truth than your own mirror.
A thorough color analysis is the ONLY way to learn your best and worst colors. Here’s why: Mirrors warp colors; it’s just a fact. Don’t believe me? Hold your arm right up next to a mirror and look at the color of your skin. It’s ok, everybody freaks out when they see it.
I wrote a whole blog about this shocker! Click here to read it.
Jean helped me to understand that style is more about fitting my features than what is popular. I learned the different ways to flatter my personal assets and heighten my awareness of what looks appropriate for me. Thank you, Jean, for this experience, and for helping me develop a better sense of what to look for when shopping.

I was amazed at the colors that bring out the real me. To find out that I am a dark winter was surprising. When they put the colors that just made me be me, it was astonishing. I felt so regal, like I never have before. It is an awesome feeling. I realized that I have to get those colors. Thanks Jean!
